Night Sky

Last Saturday I went to ravinia, an outdoor music venue, to see the Gipsy Kings. Looking up at the sky through the trees I had saw this clearing right to the sky!

I kind of saw a star.

It was a beautiful night to be out.

Ruffles have ridges. . .and teeth!

Over the weekend, I found this in a bag of potato chips!

YIKES! Looks like a first or second molar!

Never fear though, it was only an oddly shaped chip.

Garfield!

I actually like Garfield the cat. But someone, for a moment, decided to look at the strip in a new way, and I am all for that! When Garfield is removed from the strip, the strip takes on a whole new meaning and exploration into John Arbuckle!

Fetish

Zuni fetishes are carvings made of stone and shell that are used by members of the Zuni tribe to bring good fortune, rain, and protection from witchcraft and their enemies, among other benefits. Other native American tribes, including eskimos carve fetishes too.

Tied to the back of many fetishes are medicine, or offering bundles of gemstones - to help prayers be heard.

Turtle - Oldest symbol of mother earth - symbol of longevity and confidence

Lately though, I have been seeing fetishes all around me. Here are two. I like to call them Consumi fetishes.
