Zeidland

Welcome to my world! I always thought it would be fun to be the ruler of my own place, and now I can be! I see it as an island within a big city full of life, culture and lots of laughter. Consider yourself a citizen.

VICTORY!

I got Lisa hooked on Scrabble. Actually, up until a few years back she hardly played, well not very well, hee hee. So we played, A LOT! And the student over ran the teacher, SUBSTANTIALLY!

We were playing Scrabulous online until it was taken down. THEN Scrabble, the official game, created a Facebook version for our indulgence! And again, all I did was rack up some losses!

She challenged me to a game named Ketchup (Lisa) v. Mustard (me). We have this thinkg about the epicurean delight of hot dogs. It seems she and others over the age of 5 still find ketchup an appropriate condiment for tube steak! And being from Chicago, I find the practice deplorable!

Well, this morning, I defended the honor of Chicago's famed hot dog legacy and Mustard beat Ketchup.

I doubt this truly settles anything!

BINGO!

The other day while playing Scrabbulous I did something I never did before!

TRAINEES! An 8-letter word (built of the E in DOTE) across 2 triple word scores using all 7 letters for a total of 131 points for the word! BINGO!

Scrabulous is. . .

FABULOUS!

I love Scrabble. I have been known to vacation and never leave the home of another Scrabble addict (Atlanta with Lori). I have given the game as a gift, bought people the official dictionary, play it whenever I can. Not many will play with me anymore. I seem to get competitive!

Thanks to Mari, she introduced me to Scrabulous through Facebook. I am now hooked with this version. There seems to be kinks, but it is pretty darn cool. Sometimes when playing with people in far time zones the waiting can be awful!

Today I hit a milestone, breaking 400 points in a game. It doesn't happen that often, at least not to me, and I play a lot!

Check it out and invite me to play. I cannot say no!
