dragonfly
Purchased at the MCA.
It is a balancing bamboo dragonfly. It serves no purpose other than it makes me smile.
And right now it is sitting atop the handle of a metal stamp, standing in an empty wooden spool.

Today I saw the dragonfly
Come from the well where he did lie.
An inner impulse rent the veil
Of his old husk, from head to tail,
Came out clear plates of sapphire mail.
He dried his wings, like gauze they grew, Through crofts and pastures wet with dew
A living flash of light he flew.
I love it! I think I'll get one too. Oh wait, never mind. :-)
I saw this in person - and it is SO FREAKING COOL! : )
I think you should paint it!
